Description

This is Judith, one of the main characters of my comic 'Shadow of the Immortals'.

I made the sketch of this drawing a few months ago but I was afraid of coloring it because I thought I would ruin it haha! Personally I love this character and her dress, I tried to make her look like a mermaid so that's why her dress looks similar to a mermaid tail. I've also put in practice a few things I've learnt on DA Nod.. Anyway I still feel I have a lot to learn about coloring XD

I hope you like it, and feel free to leave your critiques :)

Its quite the sight to see compared to most digital anime styles. Its a nice use of what first appears as a nice watercolor pencil or just plane colored pencils. There is no wrong lines or miss placed colors seeing how well you put them all together, adding different colored shading in each highlight and lowlight. the Background is simply remarkable as it both fits in with the main focus of the picture and also complements it as well. What I mean by that is, is that is a beautiful background but too much going on that it takes your attention away from the main feature. All in all I think its an easy favorite in my book
